Our Thursday Club Night has been changed from

Templemore to Colaiste Pobal, Roscrea

for the next three Thursday Nights
(March 5th, 12th & 19th) from 8-11pm.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
It is important to have all your attendence, to cover the cost for the hall, etc.

County Juvenile Championships

Well done to everyone who played in the County Championships, which took place on Sunday 22nd February, in Our Lady's Secondary School, Templemore .
It is always a great experience to play against players from other clubs and there were some great tussles throughout the day.
Two of our players were very unlucky in their respective finals
Sean-Patrick Guerins in the U-15, lost in three sets to Conor Sheedy of Country Club and
Eoin Bourke in the U-17, also lost in three sets to Jaco Oosthuysen of Hillview.
Next up will be th County Doubles and the County Junior/Senior Team Event.

Table Quiz, A Great Success

The club's table quiz was a great succes with four of our own players on the winning team, Catherine Scanlon, Sinead Bourke, Pat Butler & John Maher.

Much thanks goes to the committee who organised the event and those who helped on the night, The Spinning Wheel pub for offering their premises, to host the event and who kindly supplied the complimentary food, Pat Costello for supplying the sound equipment and the local clubs, businesses and anyone who sponsored a table(s) or raffle prizes on the night.
Thanks must also be sent to the Roscrea Badminton Club who travelled over with 4 teams to support us and we must try do the same when their own comes around, in a couple of months time.

A special, thank you, must go to our own clubman and quizmaster on the night, Joe Keating, for all the work he put in to set the questions,etc. and keep the show running so well all night.
Many compliments were made on how fair the questions were and it showed in how close so many teams were, in the scoring on the night. With just one round to go, it was still well up for grabs.

6th Div. League Match

Well done to the 6th Division B Team, who finished off the first half of the league, with a great victory over their nearest rivals Gurteen 4-3. Templemore had to give away home advantage for this match due to the home game in Templemore having to be called off mid-match.
Thanks again to Gurteen for agreeing to this rearrangement.
This now leaves Templemore 2 points clear of Gurteen and leaves these two teams as favourites to make the final.
